What's a viewer-hour?One viewer watching one hour of live video. A 90-minute service streamed to 100 people = 150 viewer-hours. You only pay overage past your plan's monthly allowance — and your dashboard estimates it before you go live. You pay standard Stripe card processing (2.9% + $0.30); heardso's cut is only the revenue share above.
The incumbent charges before you earn a dollar.

Questions, answered.
How does revenue share work?
You set your subscription price and keep the large majority of it. heardso takes a small percentage (12% on Starter, 8% on Growth, 6% on Pro · Live) of your subscription revenue via Stripe Connect; the rest is transferred straight to your own bank account. We never hold your money.
Who pays the card processing fees?
You do — Stripe's standard 2.9% + $0.30 per charge comes out of your portion, not out of heardso's revenue share. That's the same processing fee you'd pay on any platform that uses Stripe.
What does live streaming cost?
Each plan includes a monthly allowance of live viewer-hours (0 on Starter, 500 on Growth, 2,000 on Pro · Live). A viewer-hour is one viewer watching one hour of live video — so a 90-minute service streamed to 100 people uses 150 viewer-hours. Beyond your allowance, you pay a small per-viewer-hour overage ($0.20 / $0.15 / $0.12 by tier). Your dashboard shows usage and estimates before you go live, so there are no surprises.
When do I get paid?
Subscriber payments flow to your connected Stripe account automatically. To avoid wasting money on payout fees, small balances are batched until they reach $25 before a payout is sent — your dashboard shows when your next payout will land.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
No. No annual contract, no setup fee, and no per-subscriber fee. Cancel anytime, and your videos export cleanly if you ever leave.
What does the affiliate program pay?
If you refer another creator, you earn 20% of heardso's revenue share from them — a slice of our cut, never their revenue or base fee — for as long as they're active (once they clear a small activation milestone).
